You will need Debian Lenny

Lenny is not officially stable yet (Domino needs some updated libraries that are not available in Etch). I am running 8.5 on 2 test servers, no OS related problems so far.
Debian is not supported but I have been using it for a few years now. Works quite well for me.
It is not easy for a proprietary vendor to support Debian as many Debian people do not care much about requirements of closed source software.
